Pompeo, Finnish Foreign minister discuss security in Baltic sea

Washington, Nov 17 (Sputnik) US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Finnish Foreign Minister Timo Soini discussed the challenges that Russia poses to the security of the United States and Europe, State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert said in a press release.
"The two exchanged views on the challenges Russia poses to US and European security, security in the Baltic Sea region, and the importance of continued security and defense cooperation between the United States and Finland," Nauert said on Friday.
Earlier in the day, Finland's Ministry for Foreign Affairs summoned Russia's Ambassador in Helsinki Pavel Kuznetsov regarding the investigation of GPS glitches that occurred during recent NATO drills.
