Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jun 14 2016 1:19PM Police seize 84 kg Sea Cucumbers and half-kg Sea Horses, 6 heldRamanathapuram, Tamilnadu Jun 14 (UNI) Police have seized 84 kg of sea cucumbers and half a kg sea horses, both endangered marine species and arrested six persons for planning to smuggle them to Sri lanka during a raid at Kodipangu coastal hamlet at Thondi, here last mid night. Acting on specific inputs, a police team raided the house of a fisherman, identified as Kasinathan and seized the marine species, which protected under Schedule I of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 , police sources said today. The processed sea cucumbers and sea horses were packed in gunny bags.
