PM visits Ambedkar Mahasabha in Lucknow; leaves for New Delhi

Lucknow, Jan 22 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid floral tributes to Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar at the Bharatratna Bodhisatva Babasahab Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Mahasabha to wind up his day-long visit to Uttar Pradesh.
Mr Modi paid floral tributes on the urn containing ashes of Dr Ambedkar at the Mahasabha in the front of the Vidhan Sabha here.
The Prime Minister was on the Mahasabha premises for about 10 minutes where he was presented with a bronze statue of Dr Ambedkar by office bearers.
