PM to preside inaugural event of 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Netaji SC Bose at Kolkata on Jan 23

New Delhi, January 23 (UNI) Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will preside over the inaugural event for the year long celebrations to commemorate 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose commencing on January 23 at Kolkata.
Sharing this information, Tourism Minister Prahlad Singh Patel on Tuesday said that the Centre has decided to celebrate January 23 as ‘Parakram Diwas’ every year and a gazette notification to this effect has been issued on Tuesday.
The 125th Birth Anniversary year of Netaji SC Bose will be celebrated in a befitting manner at national and international level and a High Level Committee, headed by the Prime Minister has been constituted for deciding the programs, and to supervise and guide the commemoration throughout the year, Mr Patel further said.
