PM raises Article 370 in Maharashtra campaign

Jalgaon, Oct 13 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that Jammu and Kahmir was not just a piece of land for us but it was the head of India.

Addressing an election rally here, Mr Modi said some political parties and leaders were indulging in politics over Article 370 and 35A which have been abrogated by his government.

He was campaigning for BJP-Shiv Sena candidates for Maharashtra Assembly elections which would be held on October 21.

He dared political parties to incorporate Article 370 and 35A and Triple Talaq in their manifesto for assembly elections.

Prime Minister said he had come here to thank people for the trust shown in BJP and NDA. Four month ago you voted to build a strong India which could acquire a place in the world.

He said new zeal of new India was visible and it could happen with the cooperation of 130 crore Indian people.

Mr Modi said abrogation of Article 370 would help Jammu and Kashmir develop and become a prosperous state.

He said during the past five year, Devendra Fadnavis provided a stable government in Maharashtra. He appealed the people to elect the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance candidates in the assembly polls.
