PM, NHRC chief meet to discuss Ganga Maya hunger strike

Kathmandu, June 13 (UNI) Nepali Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Chairman Anup Raj Sharma on Wednesday held discussion regarding the demands of Ganga Maya Adhikari, who has been seeking justice for the murder of her son Krishna Prasad Adhikari for the past 13 years.
According to a report in The Kathmandu Post, her health condition has deteriorated after she resorted to a hunger strike.
Ganga Maya had began her hunger strike soon after the government decided to grant amnesty to murder-convict Bal Krishna Dhungel on the Republic Day.
