PM meets Prez Bolsonaro: India, Brazil ink 15 MoUs on multiple sectors

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) India and Brazil on Saturday inked 15 pacts and MoUs to boost bilateral ties.
The agreements, including on oil and natural gas, were inked after bilateral talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the visiting Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro.
"There will be enhanced ties between two countries on Cattle Genomics, Health and Traditional Medicine and Cyber Security," the Prime Minister said.
There was also an Investment Cooperation and Facilitation Treaty signed by External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar and his Brazilian counterpart Ernesto Araújo.

Speaking at a joint media conference, Mr Modi said it will be matter of pride and happiness that India is hosting the President of Brazil for the Republic Day parade on Sunday.
"Despite geographical differences, we are together on many fields....," Prime Minister said adding the Strategic Partnership between two sides would be strengthened further.
In a Twitter missive, MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar wrote: "An expanding strategic partnership....
Frequent high-level interactions between the two countries have sustained the dynamism in our ties".
Mr Modi also said both India and Brazil share similar views on issues like terrorism and climate change.
"Today, we have decided to have enhanced ties in multi lateral forum," Mr Modi said.
Brazilian President said he is anxiously waiting for Sunday's Republic Day Parade.
"We are in a position to offer a great deal to each other.....Brazil has lot to offer India and in the other way round, India has a great deal to offer Brazil," the visiting dignitary said.
President Bolsonaro is the third Brazilian President to be chief guest at Republic Day parade.
Earlier, India received President of Brazil as Chief Guest for Republic Day Parade in 1996 and 2004.
