Photographers denounce derogatory remarks

Kakinada, Jan 13 (UNI) The local photographers and videographers associations on Saturday denounced the derogatory remarks made against their profession by the Municipal Chairman of Tadepalligudem West Godavari district and demanded an unconditional apology from him.
They staged protest demonstration in front of the Collectorate here against the civic chief Bolisetti Srinivas who reportedly criticized the Minister for endowment and BJP leader Pydikondala Manikyalarao by calling him as after all a photographer.
Mr Manikyalarao was a photographer by profession but elevated as a minister after his election to the Assembly. The Association leaders have called on the DRO and presented a memorandum in support of their demand.
