People’s trust in CM reflects in landslide victory: YSRCP

Vijayawada, Sep 19 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Government Advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said on Sunday that two-years of good governance of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy paved way for the party's triumphant victory in the ZPTC and MPTC polls and thanked the people for their trust in YSRCP and giving yet another thumping mandate.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he said that their responsibility has been increased with the back-to-back victories in local body elections, stating that people have proved once again that good governance will lead to victories. He said that it was a landslide for YSRCP in ZPTC polls in which they secured over 98 percent of the seats and all these results clearly portray the people's faith in the YSRCP government. He said that the party created history by securing over 62,000 votes in both ZPTC and MPTC polls in TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's constituency Kuppam and added that Naidu owes an explanation to his people.
He slammed the opposition TDP leaders for propagating that they didn’t participate in the elections and said that the opposition has been insulting the democratic process which was conducted in a free and fair manner. Sajjala stated that the TDP leaders have contested, campaigned in the polls and with defeat at hand they are trying to mock the YSRCP leaders.
