Pune, Apr 7 (UNI) Padma Shri awardee Milind Kamble on Tuesday commended the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for deftly handling the COVID-19 crisis by imposing national lockdown, which was the only solution, as of now, to cripple the pandemic.
Talking to UNI here, Mr Kamble, Founder Chairman of Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, asserted that India would emerge victorious from the prevailing situation and talked about the relief measures which should be given as the crisis would be followed by economic slump.
He appealed the State government not only to give exemption on all taxes but also slash power bills as people were facing monetary issue owing to paucity of jobs.
