P C Chandra Puraskaar 2019 awarded to Padma Bhushan Dr Devi Prasad Shetty

Kolkata, Apr 29 (UNI) P. C. Chandra Puraskaar, the annual national award from the P. C. Chandra Group was conferred upon one of India’s most reputed cardiac surgeons and humanitarian Dr Devi Prasad Shetty the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre on Monday.
Swami SuviranandajiMaharaj, the General Secretary of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and gave away the award.
Also present were A.K. Chandra, Managing Director, PC Chandra Group, Aurobindo Auddy, Managing Director, Chandras' Chemical Industries Pvt. Ltd. and Udipto Chandra, Director, P.C Chandra Jewellers address the media along with the other dignitaries.
