Opposing CAA are enemies of the country: Mahesh Sharma

Hyderabad, Jan 16 (UNI) Allaying confusion on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019, former union minister and BJP MP from Gotham Budh Nagar in Noida, Mahesh Sharma on Thursday branded those who are opposing CAA were enemies of the country.
Addressing a press conference at BJP state office here, Mr Sharma said CAA was meant to provide citizenship to Hindu minorities of three Islamic neighboring countries who faced religion persecution and living in India as illegal migrants. The CAA was not to take citizenship of Indians irrespective of religion.
He affirmed that 130 crore people of the country were Indians and there was no threat to citizenship of any Indian.
