One more AK 47 recovered in Munger district, number rises to 22

Munger, Dec 26 (UNI) Police seized an A K 47 assault rifle from three arms smugglers near Purabsarai railway station under Purabsarai police outpost area in the district today.
Police Superintendent Gaurav Mangala told newspersons here that the arms smugglers were arrested on the basis of specific intelligence input. He said that one AK 47 rifle, country pistol and musket each, four magazines of AK 47 rifles, some live cartridges, three mobile phones and Rs 50,000 in cash were recovered from them.
Police said that the nabbed arms smugglers were identified as Taufik Alam alias Mohammed Rizvi, Mohammed Irshad Ahmed and Satyam Kumar.
