One Afghan soldier killed by Pakistani Forces

Kabul, Sep 4 (UNI) One soldier of the Afghan Border Force was killed and three others injured in a clash with Pakistani forces along the Durand Line in Mohmand Dara district in the province of Nangarhar.
Nangarhar governor’s spokesman Attaullah Khogyani on Friday said that the clash with Pakistani forces started on Thursday evening after Pakistani forces violated the international border and it continued for about an hour leaving three civilians injured.
Clashes between Afghan and Pakistani forces have been occuring every now and then in the month of May, at least four Afghan border force members were killed in a clash with Pakistani forces in Spin Boldak district in the southern province of Kandahar. The clash also left 23 civilians wounded.
On July 31, Tolonews quoted the Afghan Defense Ministry alledging that at least nine civilians were killed and 50 others were wounded due to artillery shelling by Pakistani forces on “residential areas” in Spin Boldak district.
