Old rider Yusuf Pathan strikes as KKR subdue RCB

Bengaluru, May 2 (UNI) Former champions Kolkata Knight Riders shot up to the second spot in the IPL table with an easy five-wicket win against Royal Challengers Bangalore in as seasoned campaigner, Yusuf Pathan flourished late in the season to strike a 29-ball 60 in the IPL tie played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium here today.
Put into bat, RCB, despite losing Chris Gayle in the second over, managed to set up a target of 186 for KKR.
But what could have been a stiff battle was negated by Yusuf Pathan who used his shoulders and arm power to take his team home with plenty to spare in the company of Andre Russell who scored 39 off 24 balls hitting a boundary and four sixes.
