Balasore, Nov 21 (UNI) The user trial of nuclear-capable medium range surface to surface missile 'Prithvi-II' was successfully flight tested from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur – on sea, off the Odisha Coast today. ITR sources said the indigenously built missile, developed by the Defence Research Development Organisation (DRDO) and equipped with state-of-the-art guidance system, was test fired from a mobile launcher from the launch complex three at 0940 hours and it reached the specified targets with very high degree of accuracy. All the radars, electro-optical tracking systems and telemetry stations along the coast have monitored all the trajectory parameters of the vehicle throughout the mission.
