Noted writer Nayani Krishnamurthy passes away, AP CM condoles

Vijayawada Mar 1 (UNI) Noted writer and cine lyricist Nayani Krishna Murthy passed away due to ill-health in a private hospital in Bangalaore on Thursday.
The 67-year-old writer had been ill for the last few months and breathed his last while undergoing treatment.
Krishnamurthy authored many novels, stories and spiritual books. Several of his novels won prizes. He also worked as sub-editor to the Bommarillu, Vijay and Nilima magazines.
He brought out Snehabala, Ma Badi and Pathashala magazines. His publications on education related issues got popularity.
The Noted Writer was also cine lyricist and penned super hit songs. He was given life achievement award for his significant role in the Telugu literature.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has condoled his death. He recalled his vital role in children’s literature.
Several educationists, writers, poets and political leaders also condoled his death.
Family sources said the funeral of the departed writer would take place at Chowdepalli village in Chittoor district on March 2.
