North East India offers bountiful of business opportunities

Guwahati, Sep 14 (UNI) North East India offers bountiful of business opportunities and
investors should take advantage of this untapped potential, State Minister for Environment,
Forests and Excise Parimal Suklabaidya said here today.
After inaugurating the North East Region chapter of PHD Chamber of Commerce here,
Mr Suklyabaidya said the region has oil, land, forests natural resources all of which is need
for the industrialization but somehow all these potential has never been exposed to the
outside world.
Citing example, Mr Suklabaidya said in tourism, horticulture and allied areas the whole
north east region has enormous potential and if harnesses properly could fetch rich
dividends for the region.
He also urged business chambers to handhold the new entrepreneur of the region and
provide them with necessary networking facilities among business community outside the
region.
