New Delhi, Aug 26 (UNI) The activists and leaders from across the world, fighting for the rights of children, will come together to demand a fair share for the world's most marginalised children, during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic, in a global virtual summit on September 9-10, the Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation (KSCF) announced on Wednesday.
The Laureates and Leaders for Children Summit, bringing together the Nobel laureates and leading international figures from every section of the society, to work together for the betterment of children, said a statement issued here by the KSCF.
The summit be a wake-up call for all governments that they must ensure all children, especially those most marginalised, are protected during and in the aftermath of the pandemic, as this pandemic could turn the clock back a decade or more on the progress made on child labour, education, and health for hundreds of millions of children.
