No chance of entering into any alliance with BJP: Tejashwi

No chance of entering into any alliance with BJP: Tejashwi

Patna, Sep 19 (UNI) After an MLA of his party had accused him of playing into hands of senior BJP leader and Union minister Giriraj Singh, Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav today asserted that he would not join hands with BJP at any cost.

Addressing a meeting of SC/ST cell of his party at his official residence at 1, Polo Road, RJD leader Mr Yadav told his party workers and leaders not to pay any heed to such canards being circulated against him and his party.

“There could not be any agreement between BJP and me. BJP has no principle and I cannot ally with it. BJP has occupied power through backdoor and people will teach it a lesson”.

Mr Yadav said that RJD had the largest support base in Bihar claiming that thousands of people used to attend election meetings of the party during the last Lok Sabha poll against low attendance of people in election meetings of BJP and JD (U). He said still RJD had suffered electoral reverses in the last general election adding party workers should be pondered over it and work with full dedication to strengthening the party further.

As it is, RJD MLA Maheshwar Yadav on September 16 had accused leader of the opposition Tejaswi Yadav of playing into hands of Giriraj Singh.

He had also alleged that Tejashwi Yadav was trying to remove Nitish Kumar from the post of CM and that was the reason for his continued sharp criticism of Mr Kumar, sparing the BJP during the last few weeks.
