Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Oct 2 2016 9:04PM Nitish launches SCC scheme for youths in BiharPatna, Oct 2 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today launched "Arthik Hal Yuvaon ko bal" (economic support to youths scheme), for enabling youths to attain higher education and get employment, which is one of the seven resolves of grand alliance government, promised during the state Assembly elections in 2015. Mr Kumar, while launching the scheme at a function organised here, said that the state government would provide Students Credit Card (SCC) to youths seeking to pursue higher education after Intermediate level but they were hesitant to do so due to their poor economic condition. It was noticed that only 13 per cent students pursued their studies after Intermediate level due to their poor economic condition which prompted the state government to launch scheme for granting loan upto Rs four lakhs to enable them for higher studies, he noted.
