The ‘Champaran Padyatra’ would culminate at Bhitiharwa in West Champaran district, a place associated with Mahatma Gandhi`s non-violent movement. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kumar said the new Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act wouldbe implemented from October 2 in the state for paying rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary.
