Nitish dubs Chhattisgarh's PDS as best in country

Raipur, Mar 26 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today praised his Chhattisgarh counterpart Dr Raman Singh for having the best Public Distribution System (PDS) in the country.
"The computerised PDS system is the best in the country and most transparent as it provides details about the distribution of essentials among consumers, procurement of paddy at support price and online payment to farmers on the same day. I am highly impressed by your regime's PDS system and safe storage of paddy at the procurement centres of state-run Primary societies," Mr Kumar told Dr Singh.
Mr Kumar called on Dr Singh at the latter's official residence here this evening, being accompanied by two of his ministerial colleagues Ashok Choudhury and Rajiv Ranjan.
