New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday filed a chargesheet against two members of a Bangladeshi terror group, Ansar-al-Islam, who had entered the country illegally, in a Special Court at Aizwal in Mizoram.
According to NIA, they were caught by Silsuri villagers when the duo could not produce any valid documents and gave unsatisfactory reply to the queries about their antecedents and purpose of presence in the area.
Both the accused were then handed over the Border Security Force and later to the local police in Mamit district of Mizoram. NIA took over the case on September 19, 2019.
