NIA announces cash rewards on wanted NSCN (IM) rebels involved in killing of Tirong Aboh

Itanagar, Sep 26 (UNI) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced cash rewards for information on five wanted members of rebel group NSCN (IM), for their alleged involvement in the killing of Tirong Aboh, the then MLA from Khonsa West constituency of Arunachal Pradesh, his son and nine others on May 21, last year.
A bounty of Rs three lakh each was announced by the agency on wanted Apem, Absolon Tangkhul and Victor Tangkhul, while Rs two lakh each was announced on James Kiwang and Rabi Wangno.
''NIA Announces Cash Reward for Arrest of Wanted Accused involved in the assassination of Shri Tirong Aboh, Hon’ble MLA Khonsa , Arunachal Pradesh. He & his son were among the 11 people shot dead by NSCN(IM) militants on 21 May, 2019 in Pansum Thong village of Tirap district,'' the agency posted on micro-blogging site Twitter on Friday, along with photos of five wanted NSCN (IM) members.

33 22 pc voter turnout till 11 am in Manipur

Imphal, April 26 (UNI) Polling process picked speed in Outer Manipur Lok Sabha constituency after 9 am on Friday as 33.22 per cent voter turnout was recorded till 11 am compared to less than 15 per cent polling in the first two hours, as per Election Commission officials here.
