Syrian army repels militant attack at military facility - Defense Ministry

Cairo, Mar 3 (UNI) The Syrian armed forces prevented a terrorist group from breaking into a military facility in Latakia province and eliminated most of the attackers, the country's defense ministry said on Sunday.
"A unit of our armed forces operating in the northern governorate of Latakia responded to a terrorist group that attempted to infiltrate a military facility. It eliminated and wounded most of the group's members and took the bodies of three terrorists who had been killed," the ministry said in a statement.
On Saturday, the Syrian military shot down and destroyed seven drones of militant groups in Idlib and Raqqa provinces, the ministry said.
