Two of 3 terrorist suspects detained in Russia's Dagestan of Central Asian origin

Moscow, Apr 1 (UNI) Two of the three people detained in Russia's Muslim-majority Dagestan Republic suspected of plotting to commit terrorist crimes are of Central Asian origin, a local law enforcement source told Sputnik on Monday.
On Sunday, Russia's National Antiterrorism Committee (NAC) said the country's special forces had sealed off the suspected terrorists in several apartments in the cities of Makhachkala and Kaspiysk. A counterterrorist operation regime was introduced in the designated areas.
