Ottawa, April 21 (UNI) Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has held a meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda on Saturday, the Canadian government has said, adding that they had discussed support for Ukraine and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s "peace formula."
Duda is on a visit Canada from April 18-23.
"[Canadian] Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, at Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt. The Prime Minister and the President reaffirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine, more than two years after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. They discussed ways to continue supporting Ukraine and expressed their support for President Zelenskyy and his diplomatic efforts toward peace, particularly through Ukraine's Peace Formula," the government said in a statement.
