Russia's lawmaker says situation in Kazakhstan exclusively interior affair

Moscow, Jan 5 (UNI/Sputnik) The situation in Kazakhstan is an interior affair of the country, the deputy speaker of the Russian upper house, Konstantin Kosachev, told Sputnik on Wednesday when asked about possible help from Moscow to Nur-Sultan for settling the conflict.
"The current situation is an exclusively interior affair of Kazakhstan. We can only wish the friendly nation to avert extremes and handle this situation with the kept feeling of the national unity, which has always been its distinctive feature," Kosachev, who chairs the house's Foreign Affairs Committee, said.
