S Korea's non-wage workers fall amid Covid-19 pandemic

Seoul, Nov 4 (UNI/Xinhua) South Korea's non-wage workers relevant to the self-employed small businesses fell this year as the Covid-19 pandemic roiled the services industry, statistical office data showed Thursday.

The number of non-wage workers, including the self-employed hiring workers, the self-employed hiring no workers as well as the unpaid workers serving family-run small businesses, came in at 6.61 million as of August, down 29,000 from the same month of last year, according to Statistics Korea.
