Belgrade, Mar 16 (UNI) Croatian President Zoran Milanovic has set parliamentary elections for April 17, his administration said in a statement.
Lawmakers of the Croatian Sabor at the last meeting on Thursday reviewed preparations for the 1100th anniversary of the Kingdom of Croatia, reaffirmed several international treaties, extended the reduction in the VAT rate on natural gas and other fuels, discussed several economic measures, amended the criminal code and voted to dissolve the legislative assembly.
“The elections of lawmakers to the Croatian Sabor will take place on Wednesday, April 17, 2024,” says Milanovic's decision published by the administration.
Citizens will elect 151 Sabor deputies on April 16 in diplomatic missions abroad, and on April 17 in Croatia. UNI/XINHUA AKS
