Death toll from Tanzania's flash floods rises to 66: police

Dar Es Salaam, Apr 20 (UNI) The death toll from flash floods in Tanzania, caused by heavy rains, has risen from 58 to 66 in the past week, police officials said on Saturday.
David Misime, a spokesperson for the Tanzania Police Force, said that the additional deaths were reported from various regions, including Rufiji, Mwanza, Simiyu and Arusha.
The initial report on April 14 showed that 58 people had died in 10 regions between April 1 and April 13.
