Taliban flag not allowed during official meeting in Turkey

Ankara, Oct 15 (UNI) A Taliban delegation led by acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi held official talks with Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, but the Taliban flag was not allowed to be put up at the venue alongside the Turkish flag.
Photographs of the meeting show the Turkish national flag put up at the venue of the meeting, but the Taliban flag is conspicuous by its absence, even as the two delegations are seated on either side of a long table for talks.
During the meeting on Thursday, Turkey reiterated the importance of an inclusive government for Afghanistan's unity, said a top Turkish official.
