16 killed in attacks by paramilitary forces in central Sudan: resistance committee

Khartoum, Mar 30 (UNI) At least 16 civilians were killed in attacks by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on villages in central Sudan, the Wad Madani Resistance Committee announced on Saturday.
"The RSF attacked the village of Wad Abu Amna (in Gezira State) in central Sudan, killing 11 people and injuring 16 others," the committee said in a statement.
"The RSF also attacked Al-Manasra village, killing five people and wounding several others," the statement said, noting that the RSF also raided the village of Basut, leading to a number of casualties that the committee was unable to determine.
