Sixteen die, 28 injured as Kyiv attacks Tokmak in Zaporizhzhia region

Kyiv, Apr 15 (UNI) Sixteen people, including three children, were killed and another 28 injured as a result of Ukrainian forces' attack on the city of Tokmak in the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, the region's governor, said on Monday.

"Emergency rescue work in Tokmak has been completed. The number of dead as a result of a terrorist attack by the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to 16 people, including three children. A total of 28 people were injured; 12 people remain in hospitals with injuries of varying degrees of severity," Balitsky wrote on Telegram.
