Serbian President Vucic says expecting meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping soon

Belgrade, Mar 30 (UNI) Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Friday he is expecting a meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping soon, but did not reveal when or where it would take place.
Delegations from Serbia and China signed a duty-free trade agreement in Beijing last October in the presence of the two heads of state. Mining and metallurgical companies with Chinese capital have been Serbia's three largest exporters for years. According to the Serbian government, trade between the two countries has increased 152-fold in the ten years since 2012.
“I am expecting and hoping for a meeting soon, but I don’t want to say when, I can’t say, with Chinese President Xi Jinping,” the Serbian president said during a speech. UNI/SPUTNIK AKS
