2 dead in car accident with wild elephant in Sri Lanka

Colombo, Apr 5 (UNI) Two people were killed and six others were injured after a lorry collided with a wild elephant and toppled in Polonnaruwa, North Central Sri Lanka, on Friday, police said.
The police said there were eight people in the lorry when the accident took place, and the injured were admitted to regional hospitals.
The police are conducting further investigations.
