Baghdad, Mar 31 (UNI) Five people were killed and two others injured Sunday in a car accident in Salahudin province north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad, the traffic police said.
Salahudin Traffic Directorate said in a statement that two cars collided on the main road north of the city of Samarra, some 120 km north of Baghdad, due to the high speed and non-compliance with traffic rules.
"The two cars were destroyed and five people in both cars died and two were injured in the accident," the statement added.
