3 killed in military helicopter crash in Cuba

Havana, Apr 12 (UNI) Three officers were killed Thursday after a military helicopter crashed in the eastern Cuban city of Santiago, the Ministry of Armed Forces (Minfar) reported.

The aircraft crashed at an airport in the country's second most populous city located about 860 km east of Havana, Minfar said in a statement, adding that three of its crew members were killed.

"At present, a committee of the Revolutionary Armed Forces is investigating the cause of the accident," the statement said.
