Teenage pedestrian killed after being struck by bus in Australia's Brisbane

Canberra, Mar 9 (UNI) A fatal bus-and-pedestrian traffic crash in Brisbane City caused an 18-year-old female pedestrian to die on Friday evening, said the Police Force in the Australian state of Queensland on Saturday.
The police said that just after 5 p.m. local time, a bus left the road on a street in the Brisbane CBD and struck the victim before colliding with a nearby building.
Emergency services arrived at the scene a short time later, and the woman was declared deceased.
