Day temp above normal at isolated places over JK & Ladakh

Pune, Mar 13 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over Vidarbha; at many places over west Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Rayalaseema; at a few places over west Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, north interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and Kerala and Mahe; at isolated places over West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya, Marathwada, Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam.
They were appreciably below normal (-3.1°C to-5.0°C) at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 41.0°C was reported at Anantapur (Rayalaseema) over the country.
Night temperatures markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at isolated places over north interior Karnataka; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over Telangana and Marathwada; at isolated places over Odisha, Konkan and Goa and Rayalaseema; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at most places over Gujarat region; at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Kerala and Mahe; at a few places over west Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Saurashtra and Kutch; atisolated places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and Karaikal.
