Mah: 3 killed, 2 injured as lightning strike

Nagpur, Oct 12 (UNI) Three women labourers were killed while two others were seriously injured after being struck by lightning in Nagpur district of Maharashtra, police said, police said.
According to police, the incident took place on Sunday evening when some women labourers took shelter under a tree in Shiva village in Kondhali to protect themselves from heavy rains while they were on their way home.
Lightning struck the tree and left them unconscious and injured ," police said, adding that the injured were rushed to hospital in Hingna by villagers where three of them breathed their last.
