Strong winds very likely over Arabian Sea, fishermen advised to stay away: IMD

Pune, Sep 11 (UNI) During next 24 hours, strong winds of speed 45-55 kmph very likely over southwest Arabian Sea as well as Karnataka, Kerala, and south Maharashtra and Goa coasts.
Similarly, squally weather very likely over Gulf of Mannar and Lakshadweep areas. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these sea areas.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places very likely over coastal Karnataka, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, south interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, northeast Uttar Pradesh, south Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, western parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gujarat, madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, Goa, Telangana, Rayalaseema, north interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Lakshadweep.
