Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mar 16 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Council, Ambadas Danve, on Saturday squashed rumours circulating in social media that he has joined rival Chief Minister Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
Clarifying his position, he said, "I have been an aspirant for the Lok Sabha for last 10 years. I insisted to the party for giving a ticket to Lok Sabha elections and that is my right. But reports of me being upset are fictious. I will accept whatever decision the party chief Uddhav Thackeray takes. I am on way to join Shiv Sena (Shinde faction), these reports are false."
Speaking further, he said, "I am always in touch with the party chief. There will be no earthquake after my departure. I am a simple worker. I am not working for Chandrakant Khaire, who always sidelined me forever. I will always follow the order given by the party."
