Kolhapur, Apr 15 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was successful in convincing independent MLA Prakash Awade, who had decided to contest Lok Sabha elections from Hatkanangale Lok Sabha constituency against official candidate of Mahayuti, after about half an hour meeting on Monday at latter's residence.
Shinde, who arrived here specially for filing nomination paper of sitting MP Dhairyashil Mane from Hatkanangale seat, directly left for Awade's residence from airport and held talks with him for about half an hour.
