Maha: Muslim Reservation Action Committee & Janajagaran Samiti demand 5 pc reservation to minority community

Aurangabad, Sep 15 (UNI) The Muslim Reservation Action Committee and Janajagaran Samiti Maharashtra demanded that the state government should set up a backward class commission to give permanent five per cent reservation to Muslims in jobs and education.

The Muslim Reservation Action Committee and Janajagaran Samiti Maharashtra delegation issued a statement addressing to the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray through a memorandum which was submitted to the Divisional Commissioner on Monday demanding reservation for the Maratha and Muslim communities through an ordinance, they said in a statement on Tuesday.
