Minister Narendra Modi had offered him a proposal that the BJP and NCP should come together to form the government in Maharashtra.
In an interview to a newspaper Mr Pawar said he had received a proposal from Mr Modi that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and NCP should come together to form the government in the state, after Shiv Sena broke its alliance with the BJP. Mr Pawar added that he rejected PM Modi's proposal saying that the ‘ideoglogy of both the parties are different, so it is not possible to have an alliance with the BJP.
