Mumbai, Oct 12 (UNI) Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse-Patil on Tuesday convened a meeting of top police officials and discussed with them issues related to increasing crimes against women and drugs abuse by the youths in the state.
Earlier, he told mediapersons that he will be meeting top police officials to discuss issues of increasing crimes against women and ways to curb the drugs supply in the state.
The Home minister said that he had already given instructions to officials to set up an ‘Anti-Narcotics Cell’ in police stations at the district-level in the state to curb drugs addiction among the young generation.
