Maha: MPCC chief slams CM

Mumbai, Apr 23 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Nana Patole on Tuesday strongly criticised Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, saying that he should only talk as much as BJP prompts him to and refrain from speaking on the Congress.
"Chief Minister Eknath Shinde cannot do anything else beyond reading the script given by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Shinde should first take a look at the history before saying that the Congress used Dalits and Muslims as its vote bank," he remarked.
Taking cognizance of Shinde's statement, he said that for 60-65 years since independence, people of all castes and religions have lived in a fear-free environment in the country only because of the Congress government, he pointed.
