Congress to take disciplinary action against Sanjay Nirupam

Mumbai, Apr 3 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Nana Patole announced on Wednesday that disciplinary action will be taken against former MP Sanjay Nirupam for making anti-party statement.
Talking with media after the meeting of Congress campaign and coordination committee held at party office here, he said that Nirupam's name was in the list of star campaigners, but he made anti-party statements and therefore, disciplinary action will be taken against him.
Notably, Nirupam had made anti-party statement on Tuesday during an interview with a TV channel.
